Haworthia 'Kamen Butokai' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Haworthia 'Kamen Butokai' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Haworthia 'Kamen Butokai' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Haworthia 'Kamen Butokai'
Haworthia 'Kamen Butokai' is a comptoniana hybrid from Asia.
This is a rare Haworthia that has amazing colouration, silver/blue markings and has almost see-through windows into the flesh of the plant. As the name suggests, it has a scale-like appearance.
Once larger, this plant can be a stunning standalone Haworthia and is a must for any rare succulent collector.
