Gasteria 'Ghosty' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Gasteria 'Ghosty' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Gasteria 'Ghosty' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Gasteria 'Ghosty' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Gasteria 'Ghosty'
We have never offered this rare plant before. The Gasteria ‘Ghosty’ is a perfect example of a clumping plant. It features big, fleshy, tongue-like leaves that keep a compact form, these leaves are pale-green and spotty with a pink glow under stress. We found it grows just as well in lower light levels such as a north-facing windowsill, this also helps it keep it’s green colouring.
