Echeveria simulans Rayones quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria simulans Rayones is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria simulans Rayones likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria simulans Rayones needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria simulans Rayones
We have a few different varieties of Echeveria simulans, this particular species comes from Rayones located in Mexico. Its distinctly less wavey than our other variety of simulans but still just as beautiful. Its blue/green pastel tones with a slight pink tinge really make this a stunner.
Echeverias are incredibly rewarding plants to grow, they can be grown on there own in a pot, or potted up with other varieties creating beautiful arangments.
