Echeveria 'Naya Elf' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Naya Elf' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Naya Elf' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Naya Elf' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Naya Elf'

A compact Echeveria with amazing blue and purple coloured leaves with contrasting red tips.

Echeveria 'Naya Elf' is an Echeveria hybrid from Asia. It has a compact growing form with a highly attractive colouration. This dwarf sized Echeveria has amazing powdered blue colours with contrasting leaf tips and edges. The colours can range from green to blue with pink / purple outline to the edges of the leaves.

As this plant grows, it will naturally offset to form neat clusters. Once mature, this plant will make a great addition to a display or arrangement. The fantastic, eye catching colours and textures of this plant change with the light levels as the seasons pass. It grows very similar to Echeveria ‘Chrissy n Ryan’ and Echeveria amoena.

  • Choose a pot with a drainage hole if you can’t limit the watering (outdoors). A pot with no drainage hole can be used as long as you water moderately. A pot with a hole tends to be more forgiving. Also, as it is slightly breathable, a terracotta pot is usually preferred over a plastic pot, but the succulents dont seem to mind too much.
