Aeonium tabuliforme quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium tabuliforme would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium tabuliforme likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium tabuliforme needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium tabuliforme
Aeonium tabuliforme is like no other. It grows in a perfectly flat, disc-shaped rosette that looks almost too precise to be natural — a living green mandala with tightly packed leaves that spiral out in beautiful symmetry.
Low-growing and wide-spreading, it hugs the surface like a plant that’s part sculpture, part science fiction. The pale green foliage has a soft, velvety texture, and when grown in bright light, it glows with otherworldly clarity.
This is a slow grower that rewards patience — rare, eye-catching, and ideal for statement planters or collectors after something truly unique. One for the succulent connoisseurs.
