Aeonium 'Green Tea' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium 'Green Tea' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium 'Green Tea' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium 'Green Tea' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium 'Green Tea'
This delightful Aeonium is the variegated version of Aeonium ‘Bronze Medal’.
It features strong yellow variegation, which is relatively irregular; some offsets will completely lack chlorophyll, giving them a luminous blanket yellow colour. It will follow the same growth pattern as 'Bronze Medal', clumping into a small shrub. This makes it an excellent specimen to grow in its own pot.
