Aeonium goochiae quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium goochiae would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium goochiae likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium goochiae needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium goochiae
Aeonium goochiae is a species that is found on the island of La Palma. It is not like most Aeoniums as its leaf shape is very different from other species. It is found growing in cliff faces and rocky outcrops in the northern parts of the island. It's an unusual Aeonium due to the amazing pink flower display in June-July, making this a must for any succulent collector.
