Aeonium 'Eden' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium 'Eden' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium 'Eden' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium 'Eden' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium 'Eden'
It shape-shifts to almost unidentifiable lengths from winter to summer by showing great variegation in the winter months to looking like it has lost all variegation by summer, then to return to glory in winter. We believe it may be a variegated relative to Aeonium ‘Velour’, so you can look after it the same way. Just give it less light to bring out the beautiful variegation. Origins from Asia.
