£8.50
Gasteria bicolor var liliputana is a delightful little plant that produces the most stunning flower display. It grows as a short, compact form but clusters into multiple offsets, all capable of producing their own tall flower stems. Boasting bell-shaped pinky/yellow flowers. Some of our older specimens have had well over 15 flower spikes at once creating an eye-catching display.
Gasteria bicolor var liliputana is a very attractive plant with dark green leaves and flecks of white, to touch it has an interesting tactile texture.
Gasterias are native to South Africa and tend to be tough and rigid plants that are built to survive harsh environments, it is seen as rare in its natural environment but not endangered.
They make perfect houseplants because they’re incredibly robust and can survive on most windowsills in a house, a west-facing windowsill is ideal as the sun sets it shines through the flowers and stem which sets it all off, this just looks amazing.
