Description

Aeonium ‘Meiya’ (Meiya Mage) is rumoured to be a mutated Aeonium produced by Wang Baozhong. There is very little information on the original parentage.

This is one of the most colourful Aeoniums we have seen and, in our opinion, is even more stunning than the Aeonium ‘Medusa’ and Aeonium ‘Superbang’. Mature plants in the late spring can have the most amazing colours with the stunning variegation fading into amazing reds and purples. It grows a much larger head before offsetting, unlike other variegated Aeoniums. It can freely offset with very stable colours in the lower offsets.

Like all variegated Aeoniums, to keep the colours stronger, it’s best to grow these in lower light during the long summer days. In more intense sunlight, it can have very attractive red leaves with dark purple stripes
in the middle margins.

This is a prized stand-alone aeonium and a must for any collection.

Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
