Aeonium ‘Maximus’

A 2016 hybrid, Aeonium ‘Maximus’ really is something a bit different. It forms a cluster of rosettes around a larger central rosette (20-25cm in height by 15-2cm diameter). It has a mid-green colouring with striations on the underside of its leaves with striking slender sword-like leaves. It is quite free-flowering with attractive yellow flowers on branching flower stems to 50-60cm. Its parentage is A. cuneatum x A. simsii.
