x Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' quick care tips

Watering

x Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

x Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

x Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Graptoveria 'Fred Ives'

A hybrid of Graptopetalum paraguayense x Echeveria gibbiflora.

This plant can grow to large sizes quite quickly. It offsets as it grows but will always keep its fantastic form. The leaves are of pink, red and blue colouring and give off a marble effect. IT flowers in the summer on very long stems.

A wonderful plant that looks great in a succulent bowl.
