グラプトベリア「ピンク・ルビー」は、生育が早く、丈夫な多肉植物で、鮮やかな深紅色の外葉をつけます。生長しても、中心部はライムグリーンの色を保ちます。
単独で育てても、他の多肉植物と一緒に育ててもよく育ちます。クラッスラやハオルチアなどの他の品種と一緒に植えると非常によく育つため、多肉植物のミニチュア展示用プランターによく使用しています。
