コンパクトで枝分かれし、広がる多肉植物で、強い光の下では赤みを帯びた美しい光沢のある緑色をしています。株元から子株を出します。非常に育てやすい多肉植物で、ほとんどどこでも育てることができます。春には小さな星形の黄色い花を咲かせます。
