2016年に交配されたアエオニウム「マキシマス」は、まさに一風変わった品種です。大きな中央のロゼットの周りにロゼットが群生します。中程度の緑色で、葉の裏側には筋があり、印象的な細長い剣のような葉を持ちます。花付きがよく、枝分かれした花茎に魅力的な黄色の花を咲かせ、高さは50～60cmになります。親はA. cuneatum × A. simsiiです。
