L'Oxalis palmifrons est véritablement l'une des plus belles plantes de Mère Nature, originaire d'Afrique du Sud où elle est dormante pendant l'été et prend vie pendant les mois plus frais. On dit que cette plante ressemble à de mini palmiers vus d'en haut. Elle a un feuillage vert luxuriant attrayant qui peut virer au rouge/orange et peut commencer à fleurir au début de la nouvelle saison de croissance chaque année. L'Oxalis palmifrons est une vivace à croissance très lente et basse qui peut prendre dix ans pour atteindre soixante centimètres de large.

Cette plante est particulièrement rustique jusqu'à -10°C mais doit être dans un mélange de terre bien drainant pendant la saison de croissance hivernale. Elle peut être cultivée dans un endroit sec et lumineux dans le jardin ou à l'intérieur, assurez-vous de ne pas laisser le fond de cette plante gorgé d'eau, elle appréciera une bonne couche de terreau en surface. Cette plante se réduira en bulbes pendant les mois d'été et commencera à disparaître en février/mars. Une fois l'automne venu, elle reprendra vie. Watering

Light and position
