x Sedeveria ‘Pudgy’ is a US hybrid that is rumoured to be Sedum clavatum x Echeveria derenbergii.

Along with its beautiful mix of the two mothers comes one incredibly special feature – during the summer and warmer months, the plant develops a smell of vanilla. Like Sedum clavatum, the leaves are very fleshy and shows colours of bright-blue but then features a tight rosette and pink tips inherited from its other parent, Echeveria derenbergii. This hybrid blooms in spring throwing off the beautiful derenbergii flower shapes with colours of white and orange.

A perfect plant to contrast in your succulent bowl. Give it some space and it should offset a lot, just like Sedum clavatum.
