x Alworthia ‘Black Gem’ is a hybrid between Aloe speciosa and Haworthia cymbiformis. This plant is darker than most Aloes when put in strong light. Offsets readily from the base using the clumping method from it’s Haworthia heritage. Lush-green colours whilst growing, turning to dark-black/brown and eventually to orange once soil nutrients deplete.
