Description
Sempervivum ‘Blade of Steel’ was introduced by Sue Thomas (UK) in 2002.
This alpine will grow with a purple/blue outline over brown, grey almost sword-shaped leaves. The centre of the crown can really stand out due to its purple-red tips as it matures. The rosette will start off compact and, as it ages, will separate to create a fantastically satisfying symmetrical shape.
A wonderful hybrid of beautiful colours. These can be best experienced when planted against green and other bright colours.
