Description
Curio articulatus ‘Candlelight’ Variegata
Is an extremely intriguing plant that is also known as a sausage dog plant. Native to South Africa the Curio grows with these thick succulent stems and produce stunning multi coloured leaves during the autumn and winter months. This variegated form is a much rarer form of this particular variety.
As the weather begins to warm up, the plant enters its dormancy Stage of growth and loses all of its leaves, being left to survive the summer on its reserves built up in its stems.
Pot on into a fresh compost mix at the end of September and water once the soil dries, from mid spring water sporadically and do not let it sit in water, as this could damage the plant.
Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
