Cotyledon orbiculata ‘Red Necklace’ is such a captivating and contrasting cultivar, it has powdery, white, wedge-shaped leaves set off by dazzling crimson-red coloured margins. As it grows it will offset and form a very attractive cluster with each stem capable of producing a beautiful flowering display. During late summer the Cotyledon produces a tall stem capable of holding up to 15 trumpet-shaped pink and yellow flowers.
They are one of the most rewarding and easy to grow succulents as they thrive indoors or outside. Cotyledons as a species tend to be able to survive temperatures below freezing.
They look great if potted up with other succulents and displayed on a patio or balcony, or even try them in a hanging basket, so that you and the moths can enjoy the flowers.
