This species of Aloe is native to Madagascar and named for the spiny hairs found on the leaves that resemble that of a Haworthia species. This is a small formed species that does not grow on a stem, but instead forms clumping offsets sporting orange flowers in autumn.
This particular specimen approximately measures 10cm in diameter and 5cm in height.
