Agave potatorum variegata ‘Kichiokan’ form 2

This highly sought-after Japanese cultivar, also known as ‘Variegated Butterfly Agave’, boasts a very symmetrical form of variegated and slightly cupped leaves. It has hooked brown spines along the leaf margins, finishing with 1-inch-long wavy needles on each leaf tip. Does well when it is left in the same pot and almost thrives on neglect, preferring to grow slow and hard for best results.

This particular specimen approximately measures 15cm in diameter and 9cm in height.
