Agave montana is a large structural growing Agave plant which is native to the Northeast of Mexico, it can be found growing in incredibly high elevations of 3000m above sea level where it survives temperatures to as low as -10.

The Agave montana doesn’t mind the rain in the winter, which makes it a great agave for the cold and wet UK climate. It grows with a single rosette and can reach 1.5 meters in height and spread when mature. The leaves hold an amazing patination as they grow which have a white powdery coating. The spines of this plant outline the leaf margins and can be a stunning deep red to orange yellow in the warmer summer months as its growing.
A mature specimen plant can be a show feature plant in any garden or feature pot.

It is one of the best agaves for the UK and is found in many of the stunning Cornish gardens.

All of these Agave’s are growing in 9 litre pots.

All plants sent out bare root.
