Description
This Agave species is endemic to the mountainous regions of Mexico. Forms a huge rosette of red-spined deep green leaves which carry imprints of the spiny leaf margins. Spines turn to a red colour once they mature. Easy to grow in well-drained soils in full sun. Height to around 1m, spread to 1.5m. Will flower after many, many years with a huge 5m flower spike. Grown in a 1L pot.
