A wonderful species with an offsetting nature. Mature leaves turn gold after forming striations. The rosette is neat and the leaves feature a pink tinge.

Description

Aeonium escobarii is native to the Canary Island of La Palma.

It is found growing 700m above sea level on exposed rock faces in full sun. It is distinct from other Aeoniums by its bluish-green leaves which turn pink/red when exposed to strong summer light and can grow to around 50cm diameter.

Offsets readily to form a complete specimen making a great standalone plant. Seed grown.
